"Coppelia" 9 Ton Cutter Lying Dover

Comments
Owner's CommentsThe Dancing Ledge class is a tough and seaworthy traditional cruiser. Her hull is very similar to Eric Hiscock's WANDERER III - not unlike a large Virtue. Coppelia was comprehensively overhauled in 1987-90 by Bob Hatcher at Shamrock quay, when the entire hull was stripped and re-built. All standing rigging was checked and replaced where necessary by Solent Rigging. The engine was completely overhauled. She is a very attractive yacht with a bold sheer. Much care has been lavished on her. She would be ideal for that long-planned blue water cruise or that regular channel cruising and would grace the many classic yacht events around the coast. Brokers CommentsCoppelia is a big comfortable boat and, with her three berths, is not overcrowded like so many boats nowadays. With her separate heads and single berth forward she would be just as suitable for either a small family or a bunch of hard sailing pals. |
