Sails and Deck Gear
The teak deck is laid on marine ply and was renewed in 1990
Masthead cutter rig with varnished hollow spruce spars. Keel stepped mast stripped and re-varnished 2000. Slab reefing main boom, backstay to Oak bumpkin with chain bobstays. Stainless steel standing rigging . Terylene running rigging. Running backstays to Laurent Giles patent levers. The removable inner forestay is set up at the stem so she can be sailed as a cutter or as a fractional rig sloop with a smallish jib, or with the inner foresail removed to allow a large headsail to be set as a mast head sloop. There are four sheet winches, and three halyard winches on the mast Anchoring is a 35lb SWMF plough on chain as a bower, a folding fisherman as kedge.
