Engine

The Volvo MD2 15 hp diesel engine has always been regularly serviced.  A new exhaust system was fitted April 2000. 

Fuel consumption is approximately 1/3rd gallon per hour at five knots . The 14 gallon tank gives a range of around 200 nm.

Engine controls are close to the helm

The engine starter switch is just inside the companion way alongside the main electrical control panel.
